Wendy has more than 45 years of real estate experience and joined McDonald Real Estate in a coach and mentoring capacity. McDonald Real Estate is a company that she admired and respected for decades and she is now proud to be part of the team.
Wendy retired in 2018 from her role as CEO of Barfoot & Thompson in Auckland, a hugely-successful and culturally-diverse real estate company with more than 75 offices and around 2500 staff.
Wendy has comprehensive industry knowledge and experience in training, coaching and leadership. She has been recognised nationally and internationally and was a sought-after keynote speaker.
She was a Board Member of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand for eight years and chaired a range of strategic REINZ committees. She was also Acting CEO of REINZ on two occasions, through periods of transition.
