Location 924 Mohakau Road, Huiroa Land Area 195.7590 hectares (483.7205 acres) 39 hectares (approximately) planted in pine trees. Some registered and some waiting registration in the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). The effective grazing area is approximately 155 hectares. Rates $8,013.14 per annum Rateable Value $2,335,000 Contour This is a large and extremely tidy farm with very good infrastructure and is made up of a mix of flats, easy to rolling with some steeper contoured land. There is approximately 50 ha of flat with 55 being of mowable contour that is ideal for the making of supplements. Layout The farm is subdivided into approximately 85 paddocks utlised for grazing, all of which are accessible primarily by a main central race with several lateral races in strategic locations. Property Information Water Supply Water is sourced from the Makuri stream and pumped across the farm and also to a 10,000 litre water tank near the back of the farm where it is gravity fed to approximately 12 paddocks. The water is supplied around the farm through a 40, 32 and 25 mm alkathene mainline with 20 mm alkathene laterals. Most paddocks have 2/3 drinking points and some portable troughs are also utilised.
